Picture this, a sea of pastel flowers stretching across the English countryside on a warm summers day. That was exactly what greeted me when I visited the Confetti Flower Fields near the Cotswolds last year.

I had seen photos online and thought they looked beautiful, but nothing prepared me for seeing it in person. Fields of pink, purple, blue, and white delphiniums in every direction. It is the kind of place that makes you stop, breathe, and forget everything else for a while. Trust me, this one belongs on your summer bucket list.

The Confetti Flower Field gets its name from what the farm does with the flowers. At the end of the season, workers cut and dry the delphiniums and turn them into natural, biodegradable confetti for weddings and events. You can even take a little piece of the magic home. Pick up a fresh bouquet or grab a bag of confetti during your visit.

The Confetti Flower Fields open for only a few weeks each year before the harvest begins. Dates shift slightly depending on the weather and its effect on the growing season.

In 2026, the fields open from 20 June to 5 July. Note that they close to the public on 24 and 30 June for private events. See website here for all dates. 

The field opens Monday through Sunday from 10am and closes at 7:30pm. A few dates (25 & 27 June and 4 July) the field closes earlier at 5pm for an evening concert, which requires a separate ticket.

There are also a few dates where the field stays open late, until around 9:30pm for sunset (20 & 21 June and 3 July).

The best time to beat the crowds is during the week, ideally at the start or end of the day. Your ticket comes with a specific entry time slot to help manage crowds.

However, there is no limit on how long you can stay, so midday gets busy. Later in the day is great for lighting, especially on sunset evenings, when golden hour makes everything glow.

The tickets are typically about £9.95 per person, which includes parking. Children under five enter for free. 

Tickets are available online via their website and I highly recommend booking in advance. Tickets go on sale at the beginning of April and always sell out quickly, especially popular early morning and evening times.

The Confetti Flower Fields are located on the edge of the Cotswolds at Wyke Manor Estate, in the village of Wick near Pershore. The estate spans about 1,000 acres, so avoid heading to Wyke Manor House as the flower field sits far from the house itself. Follow the Confetti Flower Field signs as you enter Wick and they will guide you straight there.

If you plan to use public transport, the closest stations are Pershore and Evesham. From the station, catch the X50 or 14 bus or take a taxi to Wick. Keep in mind the bus drops you in the village, not at the field itself. From the bus stop, expect around a 25 minute walk to reach the flowers.

Skip the heels. I know it is tempting when you have a cute outfit planned for photos, but the ground is soft, uneven, and gets muddy fast after rain. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes or even wellies. Honestly, the flowers are so tall that your feet will barely appear in photos anyway.

Do not forget to pack a light jacket and an umbrella too, just in case of a summer rain shower. This is England, after all. And do not let a cloudy sky fool you into skipping the sunscreen. I have gotten a proper sunburn on what felt like a cool, overcast day.

A hat is a great option to protect from the sun and is cute for photos. I would also recommend insect repellent. With that many flowers around there will definitely be bugs.

Concerts

This year, the Confetti Flower Fields are trying something completely new and hosting live outdoor concerts. I think it sounds absolutely magical. Imagine watching a live outdoor concert surrounded by acres of pastel flowers as the sun goes down.

There are 3 concert dates to choose from and each concert requires a separate ticket from your field entry. Keep that in mind when planning your visit.

Activities

Beyond the flowers themselves, there is genuinely so much to do this season. This year there will be a full size ferris wheel on site. I imagine the views from the top will be incredible. They will have a hot food stall and a licensed bar that opens from 5pm, perfect for a picnic.

There is also a gift shop stocking cut flowers, bags of confetti and art, plus an arts and crafts station for younger visitors. And if you happen to be visiting around the summer solstice, do not miss the Midsummer Festival on 21 June. 

The Confetti Flower Fields sit right on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, which makes them the perfect starting point for a full day of exploring. Continue your tour of flower fields and visit the Cotswolds Lavender Field. The lavender field is only about 20 minutes away and feels like you are in southern France. Rows of purple lavender stretching out with views over Broadway village below.

Wander the fields, try lavender-flavoured food and drinks, and browse handmade candles, lotions, and essential oils. It is the perfect second stop for a flower filled day.

About 30 minutes from the fields sits one of England’s most iconic towns. Stratford-upon-Avon is the birthplace of Shakespeare himself, and it is well worth a visit. Visit Shakespeare’s place of birth and the cottage of his wife, Anne Hathaway. If you have time you can watch a show at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. 

Still not done with flowers? Several stunning gardens sit within 30 minutes of the Confetti Flower Fields. Snowshill Manor & Gardens, Kiftsgate Court Gardens, Hidcote Garden, Batsford Arboretum, Bourton House Garden, and Sezincote House & Garden are all worth a visit.

Can you pick the flowers? 

Unfortunately, no. You cannot pick the flowers. In order to keep the fields looking stunning for every visitor throughout the season, picking the flowers is not allowed. Instead, head to the gift shop for fresh cut bouquets or a bag of flower confetti to take home.

Can you bring dogs? 

No. Animals are not allowed at the Confetti Flower Fields. 

Is it suitable for children? 

Absolutely! Kids will love running through the flowers, riding the ferris wheel, and making crafts at the art and craft station. You can also enjoy a nice picnic. It makes for a fun day out with the family. Children under 5 go for free. 

What if it rains?

The fields stay open in the rain, so pack a jacket and umbrella. A rainy day can make for some really cute photos! Sometimes you are able to swap your ticket to a different date, though this is subject to availability. In cases of extreme weather, the field may close entirely for the day.
